Mom's bedroom wall.

Actually it's Mom and Dads bedroom but, I think of it as Mom's. Tonight I added a pillow to the bed to put under Dad's knees. I layed down to test it out. It's really comfortable. I looked around at the stuff hanging on the wall. This picture is hanging there. It has pictures of the 5 of us children Some are weddings and other occasions. I think I did this for Mom. She could look at this every day and she did. There are pictures colored by my niece Tori hanging on the wall. They were done when she was 5. She is now a senior in college. Mom wouldn't let us take them down. On another note, I have very limited wall space in my bedroom but there is a picture done by Sami (I have always called her Phoebe) she is a junior in college and I can't take it down.
On another wall there is a photograph of my mother's paternal aunts. There are seven of them and they are dressed like gibson girls. I will blip it another time.(hopefully).
There are so many things that remind me of her. I have a hollow feeling. But, I have my dad and he keeps me busy. I hope the pillow under his knees help his back.
Speaking of beds, I went out with Ingrid today to look at mattresses. Wow there are hundreds of different mattresses and we looked at every one. It took her 3 1/2 hours. I watched her son while her husband arrived and they tried tons of them. Aidan and I found one that the head and bottom go up. We called it the taco bed because you can make yourself into a taco. It also has a vibrator. We put quarters on it to see if the money moved, it did. we had fun playing on the beds and looking at boxes and cases and imagined what we would put in them. We talked about making treasure boxes from books. I really want to do this. I have some old worthless books in the basement. I think we need to try it.
So after bonding with Aidan, Ingrid ordered a mattress.
We then went to Starbucks and goodwill. I have touched a lot of things today.
I am off to bed and going to sleep late tomorrow. I have to attack the nylon stockings on the roof. Omg I hope you have visited my journal before. I'm not kinky just ice dam free! I can also take the Christmas decorations down. I couldn't get to it with 4 feet of snow in front of it!
