Bird group day ..

This morning I was out with my bird group - there wasn't a huge amount around - here's a distant kingfisher - there was a pair whizzing about, but staying a fair distance from the hide.

I got an email today about the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust photo competition. Although I won my category (thank you, people who voted for me) it seems the YWT have decided to ask their members to vote - and have put the photos in their latest magazine. 

I'm kind of annoyed and kind of disappointed as this isn't what they said would happen in the competition rules ..
