The Pied Piper of Apley

A pretty rubbish Monday morning with plenty of stupid little things going wrong -like me putting the QC on the wrong way round, and knocking things over- meant that I felt like a change of scenery.
So I decided on a trip to the coffee shop for lunch and then a breath of fresh air with a walk through Apley Woods to chase some ducks.

-I didn't go purposely to chase ducks, that would just be weird-

The afternoon was much better.


Then this evening I saw the official news of blipfoto's liquidation.
A very sad day if it really does signal the end of something that I consider a very special corner of the internet.  I'm not sure about the idea of jumping ship to something like Project365, it just doesn't seem to be the same thing, I didn't start blipping with completing a 365 in mind -I'm not sure I really had anything in mind- but it has become important to me and I love the way that when I look back even the crappy phone shots still mean something.
I will continue to blip as long as the website exists and then...
