An uplifting and by turns very moving gig by these charming Irish boys at the Academy in Newcastle tonight. If you're not familiar with them they are well worth checking out - especially if you like a Coldplay/Mumford/U2 vibe :)
It was a lovely end to a busy work day and one where I received some very sad news from a friend who has been in my heart a lot lately. Her tiny baby lost its battle for life today, just 16 days old. I can't comprehend what those parents are going through.
