Rescue Mission

The caterpillars at school have striped their Swan plant home bare.  The teacher had been giving them pumpkin but today issued a plea for people to take some home.  Very few people in our community have swan plants in their garden which is a shame.  I have brought these ones home to my plant which I hope is big enough to sustain them.  After this crisis two of my teaching friends and I have decided to raise swan plant seedlings and plant them out in a  school garden bed next spring.  We will investigate what other companion plants could also go into this bed.  It will also create another drawing subject.
