Spring is in the Air

It is an absolutely fabulous day here. The sun is shining and it is 8 deg C. When I got downstairs this morning I found frog spawn had arrived. Then at breakfast time there was a lot of activity with the birds: blackbird, goldfinches, blue tits, house sparrows, tree sparrows and a chaffinch. Later at lunch time there were bees, bumble bees a ladybird and even a peacock butterfly enjoying the sunshine.

I decided to see if I could make an image of the frog spawn and just as I put the camera to my eye a frog came to visit. How lucky can I be.

I'm posting early today as we have a visiting speaker staying with us overnight and he will be arriving soon.
