Frog

All this week I have been listening to the most enormous sounds coming from the pond. Last year there were  about a half dozen of them but this year I can only hear one but all week I have been looking for him but no luck. Judging by the noise he must be big as  you can hear him really loudly from the house which is about a hundred yards or so from the pond. Imagine my surprise when my zoom lens picked this tiny translucent frog out. I spent ages sat there in a chair by the pond but eventually saw him. I am making exciting plans to put up a temporary hide in the wood and spend the day there hoping something exciting will flash by. I have a sherpa in the form of hubby who hopefully will keep me well supplied with goodies and carry everything for me.
