Golden Reflections

I noticed that the water around our famous tree in the lake is getting low, so decided to get a photo before the lake recedes and leaves the tree on dry land.  The trees are actually still green, but the early morning sun turns them this lovely golden colour.

My visitors have left this morning, it was great catching up with relations from the North Island.  Tomorrow I am going on a Church picnic to Poolburn, so I will blipping later than usual.  The weather here is still brilliant, not a cloud in the sky, but coolish in the morning.
