Freiburg

I took Emma and Claire to my church this morning and then, to round off what has already been a very packed weekend, we went to the German Black Forest to have some Black Forest Gateau and a wander around Freiburg.

It had a nice old town to walk around, a cathedral to climb (which we did) and little sunken streams running through the city called Bächle. Apparently if you trip and fall into one you will fall in love with a Freiburger and never leave. With one married and one recently engaged friend with me, they weren't too keen to test that theory.
