Easy Pickings

This lovely lady & her handsome other half have recently taken up residence on the little beck that runs through our wood & gardens. They appear to have enough sense to keep out of the dog's way - but from time to time we see them under our feeders (or far more frequently the neighbour's feeders) gobbling up all the fallen seed - must seem far easier for them than fighting with all the other ducks on the village pond.

I delayed blipping this yesterday as we were out to a retirement celebration for an old colleague last night - but lots of strangers in a room doesn't make for a good blip - even if it was lovely to catch up with some old faces & for C to put faces to names she's heard many a tale of.
