Obscured by Clouds.
Yes, I know, sorry, it's yet another blippin' eclipse blip!
After a bright early start, the sky clouded over but this was a blessing in disguise. We were able to watch the start of the eclipse (with care) with the naked eye. Then a friend popped in with a piece of very dark glass, the eyepiece to a welders mask. Did the trick right well, it did! We quickly popped down to see Phil, Ali and Eve (Euan was at school) and we all admired the sight in turns. As did the neighbours who were all out in their gardens watching events.
A most interesting day!
