Impromptu Parade

There is nothing like a parade, especially one you just stumble across. When that parade involves kids in costume there is no comparison. I encountered this particular one on the street I ride into town each time I go. It stopped me in my tracks (as you can see there is no way past), so I quickly pulled out my camera and squeezed off a few shots as these adorable youngsters marched by. A very happy way to start the day.
