New Moon

New Moon

 The mist and haziness cleared to leave bright clear skies. With no clouds the sunset was quiet with the sky fading from blue through pink to yellow. As the sky darkened Venus shone bright, then the 33 hour old new moon, a fine thin crescent with the old moon in its arms.
