Bird food

I love mussels, but the gulls beat me to it today.

The Ards Man and I went over to the marina, ostensibly to do a bit of cleaning on the boat, but I ended up reading down in the cabin while the AM swabbed the decks.

There are loads of mussel shells on the pontoon, so the gulls have obviously been fishing successfully.  It has been a gorgeous day with wall-to-wall sunshine. Our exchange students from Virginia, USA, arrived safely this morning so hopefully have had a lovely first day with their host families.

The Ards Man is demanding food now, as apparently he worked hard today while I faffed about.......
