Bath Abbey

Looking a little better in the sun than us as we chose the staying up late drinking cocktails option. Though for the record Sipsmiths Damson vodka and prosecco is a very splendid combination.

A cobweb chasing away saunter around the The Circus and The Royal Crescent helped enormously. As did a very fine roast beef lunch and an enormous Yorkshire Pudding.

We missed the chance for a look inside The Abbey due to services so we settled for staring at the outside wondering if these figures were climbing their way to Heaven and doing a little more wandering in the very pleasant sun.

Now on a pootling Sunday style train wending our way home and enjoying reading an entire newspaper.

I'm tired because I stayed up too late but the weekend has done all I could have wished for and I am feeling refreshed and much calmer about all that is going on at home. Jackson has apparently had a good weekend and tomorrow is his neurologist appointment so let's hope this week will be a big improvement on the last one.
