Lunch

We popped along to this little place for lunch, the menu is straight out of a NY deli, so of course there was nothing the kids would eat so we went to another place a few doors up.  The reason we came here is because earlier there was a pop-up/street food stall outside, called Chompsky today was their American Bakery day, smores, brownies, blondies, whoopie pies, when we arrived all that was left were Pumpkin and Choc brownies, totally rich and melty and yum and coconut and orange blondies, equally yum. 

Not much else happened today.  Poor wee Elise came home from her sleepover very tired, I suspect sleep barely happened. Amber made a lovely welcome Spring cake.  Paul ironed his shirts for work.  I went all destruction derby on an old horrid cupboard in the bedroom, best bit was when I realised one shelf just need a good kick rather than the hammer - cathartic :-)

The M word beckons and all the ex-cupboard contents are on my bed - sigh. 

Hope the weekend has been fun for you all.  I wonder if there will be any further future of Blip news this week, it's all gone a bit quiet and we are just trundling along.
