Sunday, March 15, 2015 -- Last Afternoon
This photo captures the front room; "the sunroom" is what we call it. In the afternoon the sun illuminates this little room and we enjoy it immensely. The windows are reflecting glare from the brightness of the room.
Earlier in the afternoon we went back to the Sea Glass Festival so that I could go to a couple of the vendor booths we had visited yesterday. They had a few things that I wanted to get to send to my friend Peggy. I also wanted to purchase a t-shirt and baseball cap for me.
The show would be ending at 4:00, and at 3:30 they would no longer charge to get in. Since we had paid to go in on Saturday, I didn’t want to pay again. So at 3:30 I walked in. I also got to speak with Richard LaMotte, an expert on sea glass. I wanted to ask him several questions about some of the glass pieces we had found this winter while walking the beach in Cayucos. Here is an article about Richard LaMotte.
Then we headed back to the house to enjoy the last of the day, to fix dinner, and to watch the sundown show that is now happening much later in the evening.
Good night from California’s Central Coast,
