cross and corrosion
Came across this little iron cross in Crayke Churchyard (village little north of York). I was thinking of converting it to mono given it's Monday - but the corrosion has created such wonderful colours I've decided to leave it as it was. No name attached to this little cross so I don't know how long it's been there or whom it commemorates. More traditional gravestones in the background. A lovely little church on top of a hill with views across to York. They have an outside Easter garden in the church yard near the main door which is truly delightful but the cross won out when choosing which image to blip today. Perhaps I need another trip up there in the next couple of weeks.
