Poser seal :)

This was another wildlife filled day in beautiful Kaikoura (which makes chosing just one photo difficult!). We went on the "albatross encounter" tour and went out to sea in a small boat looking for albatross. It was an amazing experience getting so close to lots of albatross who were following our boat (we had fish to tempt them). They are really beautiful birds and look surealy huge with the largest wingspan of all birds. Took some great photos of them flying and landing on water. After the tour we went for a boat ride and got close to lots of seals and their pups. This seal was propped up on a rock posing so I took his portrait. Although I like my albatross photos, its difficult to image the scale of them in a photograph so I chose to blip the poser seal instead.
After being in the boat all day we had a long walk around the bay of beautiful Kaikoura (and took more photos of the stunning views). I couldn't recomend a visit to Kaikoura highly enough and hope to return one day.
