My favourite!
This is a tractor produced by Turner Yeoman Of England. I love it's colours and general design. However the Turner Yeoman did not survive very long. Production started in 1949 when it was launched at the Royal Show held in Shrewsbury that year. Although the tractor had many innovative features it gained a reputation for being an difficult starter and together with other reliability issues saw its demise by 1957. I often wonder how many of these rather attractive tractors are quietly rusting in bramble patches all over the country!!
Today saw Mr and Mrs TBay and little Miss Tbay home safely from hospital. Now TBay are next door I can get lots of cuddles!
Farming- two on compost hauling, and Rusty on power harrowing again. Weather hopefully won't get a lot worse so that Mr TBay Jnr can go topping to tomorrow.
Mr TBay spent most of his day engaged in shed building both practice and theoretical! Water is now pretty much done. Telephone also done and electric part done. We now have three sides on the shed too, so next week the Roller shutter doors will be the next installation. A very good day today as we let another of these new units!!
I just spent the day practicing being a Granny. phew it's hard work. Tee hee!
