Lakes

It was quite 'nippy' but we did a 12 mile hike along Ullswater, starting at Glenridding, Patterdale and then onwards towards HowTown. We avoided the temptation of getting the steamer back, but were rewarded as the wind dropped and the sun came out. It was extremely quiet, only meeting a few other walkers on the way.

Aching a bit now but glad to have bagged the first big walk of the year. Good training for Helvellyn next.
