A glimpse

I was walking down the High St in Edinburgh this morning, on the last stage of my journey from Argyll to to the Parliament via a car, a ferry and two trains, when this suddenly caught my eye.

The closes of the old town contain so much history, but they also give glimpses of other, more contemporary,  things happening in the city.

In this instance it happens to be the vast amount of new build hat the University is engaged in on Holyrood Road, just down from the Royal Mile.
