Running for Macmillan

The runners only had another three hours left to complete their 24 hour challenge when I left the house this morning. Twenty stalwarts had been running for thirty minutes each since yesterday morning at 10am and had had a interesting time apparently in the wee small hours with passing drunks.
The Macmillan nurses well deserve the proceeds of the students' energy output.

With His Lordship skipping off to the hills with his rucksack and Boy Scout flint for quick fire making, I met up for coffee with a cycling friend whom I will always remember for his shepherding skills during the 100 mile veteran cycle run round the Trossachs and as my personal wind shield up the windy Robertson Pass in South Africa a few years ago.
You are a gent, Peter!
