Purple
(or not!)
Today I took photos of purple things.
I decided that because I am slightly bonkers it is still possible for me to carry on with my digital photography course even though I am over a month behind. So I read through a week and a half's worth of stuff and...
oooh...
... 5 minutes later...
... I just got completely sidetracked by baby birds on BBC's Springwatch.
I couldn't imagine a world without birds. When we moved to our current house I woke up on our first morning and it was far too quiet. Birdsong and general farm activity had been the soundtracks to my mornings and to wake up and only hear distant traffic from the road was terrible. I was miserable.
We now have bird feeders all over the place and the birds are back. I don't use pesticides or weedkillers either so we have lots of happy noisy blackbirds munching on all the snails and smaller birds swinging on the roses eating the aphids. A garden without sound is all wrong.
Which reminds me (I'm thinking of changing my name to Tangent), please read this and sign the petition if you're a wildflower and nature fan: Give us back our wildflowers
Where was I... ?
Digital photography.
Was supposed to photograph purple things to look at how the camera doesn't always reproduce colours accurately.
Only this looked better in monochome...
Had lovely fresh mackerel for tea. Caught and dropped round by very kind local chap. Thank you to him
