Beech Bark. Leitz Summitar 50mm

It's a balmy 55°F today so I took a spin through Mt. Auburn Cemetery to see if the bird life has reappeared after this long and nasty winter.  I heard a lot of tweeting but nothing Blippable.  Everywhere, the huge piles of snow are melting and streams of run-off are rushing to the drains.  I liked the hazy light raking across this huge old beech.  The old Summitar, never failing to deliver, did the rest.
