Skiddaw Rainbow

We headed straight up to Keswick this morning to get here in time for an afternoon walk. Setting off on the Keswick Launch across Derwentwater to Hawes End, we were walking by late lunch time. This meant straight up Catbells in showery and very windy weather, with bursts of warm sunshine.

We walked as far as Manesty Woods but stayed quite high up to keep the views, so continued along the Allerdale Ramble.

This is where I got this shot! Not one to miss, so the quality of the shot may not be up to much. Plus I'm editing and uploading via my mini iPad, so it's a really small screen!
