Sad Times
I had some really sad news last night that made being productive in work tough.
My cousin Michael was killed by a bus as he cycled back from work yesterday. I'm not gonna pretend we were close because we weren't, we haven't seen each other as adults for a good few years now, but I knew he was doing great through the medium of Facebook. He was just 31 and left behind his wife and 2 gorgeous kids, so sad.
Just makes you realise how fragile life is and that you're not in control of all you think you are. You have to make sure that you do your very best to enjoy every second, because you just don't know which will be your last.
I did manage to get my banners up for On Yer Bike (see blip and with help from one of the awesome hospice volunteers; Jack). I'm super excited about this event and LOVE Birkby's cool logo she designed for it.
Please give those near n dear to you an extra big squeeze tonight x
