Going out..
..AGAIN?
..He got up later than normal today, as soon as I heard him moving about, I went up to make sure he was awake. He went into that bathroom place, and then came back and got dressed. I sped him up a bit, by barking at the back door (that normally gets him going!).
He came down and cooked my mince, and then went out for my morning walk. He doesn't half dawdle. First he's got to read that barometer thing, and then he goes outside and does the rain gauges and thermometer. Then it's the hens turn, feed and water, and then he goes inside the hen house and collects the eggs. Sometimes I get lucky, and there's a broken one which he gives me. I love eggs..
Then we go for a walk over the hill. I take his frisbee with me, but if I leave it somewhere, he just throws it away. I go and get it and bring it back to him, but he just throws it away again..
Then we go back to the house again, and my mince has cooled down for me. You'd think he'd let me have it straight away, after all, I did keep bringing his frisbee back for him, but no, he has to do those cats first.. I'm more important than them, you'd think he know by now..
While I'm eating my breakfast, he makes tea for her. She's still in bed, but I dash up there and wake her up. He kisses her, but she doesn't like it when I do it. I'll never understand these humans..
Then they have their breakfast, and totally ignore me, so I have a quick kip instead. But as soon as they've finished, I take his favourite tennis ball to him. I know he likes throwing it, and if I didn't bring it back to him, he'd have to go and get it himself. He's a lot slower than me, so it's best I get it, so that he can throw it more often. He so enjoys it..
They then put their coats on (don't know why they haven't got a coat like mine), and walked down the croft to harvest some vegetables, Swedes, Brussels, Oca, and Spring Greens.. They look disgusting, I'd much rather have my mince!..
Then she went off to some Yoga class, and he went out to the greenhouse. I haven't got as clue what he was doing, he was pulling plants out of one tray, and then planting them in pots. They seemed quite happy where they were. I'll never understand these humans..
Then then both had showers, and didn't have any tea. I knew something was going on. She did my tea, mince and biscuits, but I had to wait for those bloody cats again..
Then they put their shoes on. That's when I really know something is going on. And they told me to get on my bench. Well that definitely means they're going somewhere without me. They said something about a meal, and being together for 33 years. Now I know human years are 7 times longer than my years, hang on while I work this out on my paws, that's over 200 years they've been together.. Blimey..
And then they left me. All alone, with just those cats..
They did come back later, and he gave me a crab shell. I do like crab shells, but I'm sure they should have a lot more stuff in than this one had. It was nice though, but I do enjoy mince..
I kept bringing his ball to him as he was using his computer thingy..
And now they're going to bed. So I'll have a kip too. I wonder if he want's to throw that ball again tomorrow?
