Spring..

..I think Larch trees are my favourite. These tiny buds open out into wonderful shuttlecocks of needles. Soft, and luxuriant. I have half a dozen or so of these young trees dotted around the croft, some are only a few inches high, and the tallest is a foot or so. They will grow into a wonderful tapered tree. I think I'll take a few of these shots as they develop.

Been tidying the polytunnel, digging out all the strawberry plants that self set last autumn. Replanted 30 plants in the troughs they came out of, and then filled an external raised bed with soil from a turf stack, and planted another 48 plants. Still have around the same number to plant somewhere..

And I've been throwing a ball, or frisbee, or any other toy she brings me..
