Pollock House
Another hot sunny day, it felt like the hottest yet. Went to Pollock park and walked along the river side watching swallows and sand martins feeding on the insects. Didn't see the kingfisher or the nuthatch.
The park is home to Pollock House and the Burrell. This is Pollock House which dates from1750 and contains one of the finest collections of Spanish art, as well as furniture and furnishings appropriate to an Edwardian country house. It also has a tearoom, I gave it a miss as it was too hot.
