What happened to Tuesday?
Angie dropped me off at the hospital at 7:00. Morning Prof visit at 7:15. Fingers crossed things are in better shape.......
Went down fairly early at 11:00 having spent most of the time asleep anyway. I have no idea what happened to the rest of the day. I think I eventually woke up around 6:00pm to eat evening "snack" and then collapsed again. I just slept right through until Wednesday. No chance of a Tractor Tuesday Blip.
Even spent most of Wednesday flat, plain and simple tired. No pain, no problems, just whacked. By evening I was fully recovered and then dreadfully bored. In a three bedded room with just one other room mate until evening when a third person joined us. Poor fellow was in a bad way with a very bad case of pneumonia. So he spent much of the night fighting with all that brings and of course having slept for virtually 24 hours, I wasn't tired and the night seemed endless with all the sounds coming from the room mate. Felt very sorry for him and where I could tried helping. He was on the urology ward as he also had some prostrate pains. Likely he would be moved next day to the "Lung" ward.
I did try catching up on Tractor Tuesday. This Blip is taken from the hospital room, of the Memmingen Football Clubs ground. Just to be seen is their "utility" vehicle preparing the ground for the nights big match against Burghausen, strong rivals in the "Bavarian League" . Match ended 0-0.
On the medical front, was told at morning's rounds that the op had gone really well. Didn't realise they also use lasers to zap the stones. The doc who did the deed, reckoned he had got almost everything but couldn't guarantee he got in to all the corners of the kidney itself. Got a silicone tube in (standard practice) but they want it out on Monday, so phoned my urologist in Memmingen and made an appointment. Not looking forward to it though - last time he pulled one out both he and I were nervous wrecks..
Later in the day had an ultrasound to check piping sitting well. There was a shadow which they couldn't quite make out so also had a quick x-ray which showed all OK.
Home tomorrow.Yippeee
