Dead, or dying, roses

A couple of days back Honeycombebeach posted some slightly faded flowers which reminded me of this lithograph which my sister has been looking after for me for the past few years ... I'm loving being able to see it every day and looking it forward to taking it home when my walls are repainted and my floors done. It's by Australian artist Jamie Boyd.
