At last the Penduline Tit

I visited a local bird hide with another blip friend 28degreesnorth today and we were delighted to find that the Penduline Tits were present and putting on a good show.  People have been travelling for miles to see these birds that don't often appear in this country.  One person had traveled for 4 hours today from Wales.  He was well pleased.  I had visited several times before and not seen them so I was equally pleased.  On one of these previous occasions two people had traveled from Essex stopped to have a coffee in the local shop and found the birds had left.20 minutes earlier.  I hope the birds came back later that morning for them.

We are out tonight for a meal to celebrate 6 months in out new home.
