Quarry Bank Mill

Spent much of today venturing around Quarry Bank Mill. At the start we were given a guided tour around the apprentice house by this gentleman, Steven, who put on a really super show. Sarcasm, humour, straight to the point facts, facial expressions all in the mix. Learnt a thing or two. I asked him at the end to pose for me, which he carried out wonderfully.
As we walked through the Mill itself, we came across many working loom/yarn/spinning machines whereby the operators gave us fascinating insights their mechanics.
While in the cafe towards the end we noticed a bride & groom having their pictures taken around the grounds. Naturally I took a couple myself, in true paparazzi style.
Then the heavens opened as we left. All about good timing!
Could do with the extra hours sleep tonight as the clocks go forward.
