Richtersveld #4 The Toe

There's an enormous oval shaped boulder, the shape of a big toe, on the back side of this mountain, known as The Toe. The shapes of the boulders that make up the whole mountain (or huge hill) are many, varied and amazingly weird and beautiful. It's almost as though it's been dumped into the landscape as a gigantic lump and just left there as it fell.  I'm in awe of the whole area and the scenery too. The Toe glowed apricot in the early morning sunlight. We're camping at the Kokerboom Campsite, in the Richtersveld area of Northern Cape, South Africa.
