Richtersveld #5. Over the Helskloof Pass

It was sad leaving the Kokerboom Campsite this morning, and making the long journey back to Kamieskroon. We've had a fantastic time in the desert, seeing and experiencing a world that was incredibly beautiful and wild. We'd had fog when we drove in, so didn't see the scenery. Today was very different. Dusty, and somehow it seemed much rougher and bumpier. Not a place to start practising 4WDing. 
A magnificent time out in the desert, camping with photographers and non-photographers, all arranged by Freeman Patterson. So lucky!
