A final flourish

Last week's tulips bouquet is almost done, petals falling, colours fading.
They are however so much more colourful than the colours outside, where the wind is howling and the rain is falling. Instead of 'summer time' starting it's more as if autumn is beginning !

I'm happy to say that my knee held up after yesterday's efforts and bar some shoots of pain at unpredictable moments it seems to be getting better.

Thank you so much for the comments and stars on yesterday's bird ringing collage. And yes, I can imagine it would be a bit of a shock for the birds, but they do all fly off happily and they do get handled so gently. It's all for a good cause, to know more about their numbers and habits , their general welfare and making sure they will survive as a species. Those cloth bags are apparently more gentle for them than mini cages.
