Normal Service#2

For the large part my Blips reflect my day - but loading this up this evening, listening to the rain hammering down on the roof, it's hard to picture that today was ever as nice as this makes it look.
With meetings* and training events through the day I was up and out first thing to walk pooch - and with a plan to try and grab a Blip of the Goldeneye Ducks that are (hopefully) breeding on the pond by our old house. The sharp eyed amongst you might just make out the male - getting as far away from me as possible - I didn't want to wander round and:
(a) - shoot into the sun
(b) - annoy the nesting & fairly aggressive geese & swans

However looking at this - versus a picture of a notepad & a coffee cup - or my only slightly less boring defibrillator picture - well the deep blue just cheered me up!

Home by 9 - grey by first meeting at 11 - raining by lunch :-(

* very productive meeting though - I've now finally confirmed that we'll be adding the Yorkshire 3 Peaks to our big annual clean up event - a lovely chap is going to be my coordinator over there - I strongly suspect the Y3P team will bring more rubbish off the hills than the quarter of a tonne we managed on Scafell last October!
