William IV
William IV no longer has a statue in central London. This one used to stand in King William Street in the City but was moved to Greenwich in the 1930s to make way for a road-widening scheme.
It's a grand statue: worth the train ride to see it. William stands on a tall column. My zoom lens has done a fine job capturing the lichen that is thriving in the almost rural setting of Greenwich Park.
