Scenes from everyday life

Sloan's Billiard Room

A long drive to the North East this morning to visit my mother for Mothering Sunday.

While hunting for flowers this afternoon, I passed Sloan's Billiard Room which was built in 1907. It's been empty for years but now has a new lease of life as a bar without billiards.

The inside is reputed to have some magnificent original tiling. No time to check it out this afternoon: perhaps another time.
