A deceptively windy day

From looking at this shot taken on a short walk along the estuary you would not be aware of just how windy the day has been.

Its been a surprisingly productive day today.   We had a knock at the door and our new neighbours introduced themselves.  Well they have just put money down on the deposit, but its nice to know we may have neighbours relatively soon.  Our son in Australia made contact and I purchased a new pair of walking boots.  I had been putting buying these off for along time, but it was surprisingly easy.  Just got to try them out now.
