What a wonderful place to work . . . !

Went to visit my sister-in-law at work this morning, she works for the Department of the Environment in this beautiful old building, which belongs to the Bank of Bilbao Vizcaya, in the centre of Madrid.

It was slightly cooler this morning, and we were more appropriately dressed, so it was a lot more comfortable.  Only got up to 26 deg C!  We had a great day of sight seeing, Lots of interesting sights, fascinating buildings and the botanical gardens were wonderful.  Being with someone who knows the city so well is a great help!

Far too much delicious food too - my sister-in-law is a very good cook!
