Magnolia

There was a brief break in the wind this afternoon, so I dashed out to grab this.  I have been meaning to take this photo for a while, before the blooms go over.  I love the colour, but always feel a slight disappointment.  When I bought it, the colour was described as a deep black/red.  Lovely as it actually is, it's not that.  Still, it is a great looking tree, and I'm happy that it is in my garden.
