Holy Monday
Had written 99% of the words and then hit the wrong key and lost it all. Now a short version (yes....I heard that sigh of relief)-
Threw out horses early and after showering set off for Urologist practice in Memmingen. As usual at a urologist's, first left a sample of what the dogs call their visting card.
Full of trepidation joined the other victims in the packed waiting room but no complaining, I was greatful for getting an appointment within two days.
When eventually called, was told there was a slight bacterial prescence and I should come back tomorrow to allow antibiotices to clear things up. I pleaded and was heard. so on to the chair and a fw minutes later the sheath was out. No where near the pain of the last two times but the doctor simply couldn't believe how encrusted it had become in 6 days. No wonder the last one which had been in for 6 weeks caused so much damage when being removed (under full anaesthetic).
Armed with two antibiotic pills and an check up appointment for Wednesday, set off shopping for famiy visit on Wednsday. Eventually got home to two impatient dogs. Set straight off for our walk around the village lakes. It was rather windy but for the most part it stayed dry.
On the way home, got my Holy Monday Blip. The village war memorial chapel. I need to find out more about it from Farmer Franz who is also the head of the Veterans Society. There are some very nice paintings inside on the walls and ceiling.
The red "brick" house was built last summer on the site of a former farmhouse. Much like the house in the very background, the old house was almost directly on the road, the front 1/3rd being house, the rest stables. In this case, they ripped down the stables and built the house. When it was finished, the old living part was torn down and so the house has been movedback from the road.
The house will no doubt be plastered shortly.
