One for J and Sarah
Another full day in the garden.
At around 18:00 (reminder to change the camera time) I heard the whooosh from a hot air balloon and looked up to see one heading our way. Dashed to the house to get the camera which Angie had again been hoarding for herself all day. Luckily she had just put it on the charger and there was just enough battery life to get a few shots.
Unusually at this time of year, the easterly wind is bringing warm weather. Just before the balloon drifted over our property, it started to move south and I suspect they had a spectacular view of Ottobeuren. It was flying very high and slow - in the half hour or so it was about, I only heard it heat once. Must have been a great day for it.
Well J, think about it, offer stands! The balloon belongs to Wolfgang Brosig and from the number D-OALT, I suspect he is based nearby (OAL is the car registration from the neighbouring county, Ostallgäu) and he looks like an experienced guy who would gladly give some advice for driving on the wrong side of the road.
