Youth of Today!

Everyone moans about 'The youth of today' but haven't they always, and then there is the odd time when someone like Matthew comes along.
Matthew, the boy in the red top, had a project to do for school, to plan, organise, execute and write a review about his project.
He combined this with his love of aircraft and the Jet Age Museum by organising a sponsored bicycle ride, twice around Churchdown, Gloucester. This is approximately 10 miles.
This effort raised him £101 which presented to the Jet Age Museum this morning.
In the photo Matthew is presenting the Cheque to John Lewer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (and also a retired navigator of Meteors, Javelins and Vulcans, and pilot of Buccaneers and other RAF aircraft and pilot for British Caledonian when he retired from the RAF). On the left is another boy who accompanied Matthew on his ride and on the right his project schoolteacher.
