Global Village #3

Well, following on from this, G & I had to visit Global Village (yet) again as she left the cobbler with a pair of sandals she got in Jerusalem, and they REALLY needed to be re-built. No seriously, they needed a repair more than anything else. Well, it took them around 5 days to call back to say the "new" sandals were ready to collect. We actually got taken by our friend who use the services of her driver and Lincoln Town Car to get us there!!!

Well, as usual, there was plenty to see. We actually visited some countries that we hadn't been to before; spent more on food than anything else and generally had a great time. Some pictures to sum up the evening... don't miss the ebony carving, Turkish Delight and (especially for SweetArt) pink cushion covers!

Sadly we got there later than planned, being a week night, I couldn't afford to be out too late. Almost the weekend... :D

And I should say - as G isn't blipping at the moment, she went off to the Van Gogh paintings exhibition and high tea  at the Fairmont Hotel on the Palm  before spending these few hours at GV. Such hi-class living! ;)
