Looking Down.....
.....the board walk and wondering where it leads......
This is my entry to Hobbs' widwed05 'Looking Down' challenge.
I have spent a second day in the oh, so special school where I used to teach, taking a few more photos and then sorting and processing them in an attempt to ease the work load of the friend who intended to include them in a Power Point presentation, celebrating all that has been achieved during creative arts week, in the final assembly before the Easter break.
Whilst the images were being transferred (there were rather a lot of them and it took about 40 minutes!), I took the opportunity to wander through the grounds in search of my blip. The board walk was an obvious choice for this week's Wide Wednesday challenge - it actually leads to a small wooded glen where there is a viewpoint overlooking a pond and an attractive arched bridge. It is quite new and is a wonderful addition to the school grounds because it enables wheelchair users to access areas which would otherwise be completely inaccessible to them, as the ground slopes away and disappears into woodland. There are various wind chimes along the way to add further interest, both audible and visual.
As an aside, might I add that I am in awe of those of you who work full time and yet still find time for their daily blip! :))
