.......dark day.........

Will this howling wind, driving rain and bitter cold that has been going on since the weekend ever end?

Some good news this morning...........turns out dad had a chunk of shares we knew nothing about...........the company involved got in touch with my sis this morning.

This afternoon we got some tragic news........a friend of ours.......who we haven't seen for a while............was discovered, drowned, in the local river. It seems that some time late Monday evening she went down to the bottom of her garden to the river to make sure her canoe was still safely moored, as the river was threatening to break its banks.. Whatever happened...........a slip...a trip.......a gust of wind.......she obviously went in to the water.......and was discovered late yesterday several miles downstream...........she was only 58........her husband died two years ago.....her two children are devastated.......and all of her friends and family are in shock.

That will be three funerals in the first four months of this year!
