Great grandpa!

To drag ourselves out of latest low spot following the tragic death of our friend Val we invited the family round for Easter Sunday lunch.

The  S & H, YH and the girls ........plus The Boss' Dad, her youngest brother and the lovely Sue.....and the three of us.

Salmon terrine and prawns.

Hot beef butties, cold gammon, potatoes bravas with chorizo, salad, cauliflower cheese

Apple pie, pecan and maple roulade, ice cream and cream.....make your own combination.

Beer, red, white and rose wine, tea and coffee.

3 hours of gentle grazing, sitting in the sunshine.........

The first good day of the year for me............two weeks holiday filled with marking coursework and trips back and forth to finish clearing dad's house.

Hopefully a spot of fishing.

This is Charlie just before the Boss' dad left........."Take my picture, I'm a big little old man"..........brought a laugh to everyone.
